You can download an entry form on this page by clicking on the entry form logo, or stop by the business office located in downtown Connersville or downtown Rushville from 12 Noon/5:00. Should you request an entry form via mail, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

WIFE 94.3 will choose 7 acts to participate in our local contest. All entrants must submit a recording of the 2 songs they will sing in the local show in their voice (s) or performed by their band . Judging will take place on June 28, 2010 and ONLY THE ACTS WHO ARE SELECTED TO COMPETE WILL BE NOTIFIED BY 5:00 P.M. on this day. WIFE 94.3 will not return submitted recordings. Acts selected must submit a photograph (non-returnable) for publication within one week of selection. All 7 acts selected must mail a money-order payable to SPI in the amount of $15 no later than 7 days after selection. Personal checks will not be accepted. Failure to comply with this rule will forfeit the chance to compete in the show.

How old do I need to be?
There is no age limit

Can I use pre-recorded music?
Only on your audition tape. Make sure your voice is dominating the recording. If the judges cannot hear your voice clearly, you will not be judged. No pre-recorded music is allowed at our local competition. All acts requiring music must use our Back-Up Band, your band or play acoustically. If you are using your own original song and need our band, you must provide WIFE 94.3 the chord charts when submitting your audition tape.

Will I be able to rehearse with the Back-Up Band prior to the competition?
Yes. A rehearsal time limit of 10 minutes per act is allowed.

Do I have to sing the same songs as my audition tape in the local competition?
Yes.
