Contestant's Picture For the person who asked a question via mail: ******The two songs I sang at the local level were: American Honey by Lady Antebellum and White Liar by Miranda Lambert.****** Quintana Biffert Facts Born and raised in North Dakota - Now 21 years old Born March 7, 1992 – Cut her very first demo CD at age twelve in 2004 in Bismarck at Red Button Recording. Singing since age 8-Won first talent show at Dodge Talent Show singing Shania’s “Honey, I’m Home” at same age. Traveling ND and many other states since she was 12-Opening ceremonies at age 12 for Marketplace of Ideas in ND at request of Marilyn Kipp; Opened for Bellamy Brothers, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, 32 Below, and twice for Gwen Sebastian; Opened for Carolyn Dawn Johnson at age 12 in Bottineau at the Bottineau Cty Fair; Opened for Bellamy Brothers at age 16 in Garrison; Opened for Gwen at age 16 & 17 in Glen Ullin and Hebron, ND respectively; and also for 32 Below at age 17; Has 3 CD's with plans for a 4th one—Names of CD’s: Dream, Call His Name, and Now My Life Song Sings; Has two videos filmed right here in ND-The Badlands of Killdeer and Halliday as well as rural Halliday where she grew up; Named International Teen Performer 3 times by Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) and is now Platinum; Named International Yodeler 3-times by CGMA-Now Platinum. And received those awards from CGMA consecutively 2008, 2009, and 2010; Tried out for The Voice last year in Minnesota in July 2012, singing “White Liar” by Miranda Lambert and “Delta Dawn” by Tanya Tucker and made it to just before the judges. Reason I mostly go by Quintana Biffert rather than married name is because people know me by “Biffert” and it makes it easier to find me and also so people know it’s me. Married-one son Stetson, and one on the way. Still pursuing a career as a country singer. Other Talent Shows Through the Years First talent show was at the age of eight in Dodge, ND, placing first in her category. Won second place at age 12 in a Texaco Country Showdown in 2004 in Lisbon, ND. First place at the Bottineau County Fair (ND) where she opened for Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Nashville country star in 2004 at the age of twelve. Sang on Loretta Lynn's stage in 2005 at her ranch at age of 13 in Hurricane Mills, TN. At age 14 she won first place in a Texaco Country Showdown in Wolf Point, Montana. ND State Fair Talent Contest first place winner in 2006 at 15. In June of 2007 placed second in a Texaco Country Showdown in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota at age 16. Awards, Venues, and Accomplishments Quintana was a featured performer at the Medora Musical, in Medora North Dakota in July of 2007. She was also a featured performer at Praise on the Prairie (POP) in Beulah, North Dakota the same year and in 2012. Quintana has performed at the famous Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville in July of 2007. Later in the same evening, she performed at John A’s near Opry Land Mills. Cut her second CD in late 2008 and 2009 with 12 songs entitled “DREAM” in Nashville. Her third CD was cut in late 2011 and released in May 2012, entitled “Now My Life Song Sings”. She was also a featured performer with Merrill Piepkorn and his show in Medora last year (2012). Local level winner of the Texaco Country Showdown in Dickinson, ND on June 26, 2013. Advancing to State Level on August 2, 2013 in Beach, ND.
