Casey Sutton is an up and coming singer and songwriter from Eastern North Carolina. Growing up in a musical home in Pikeville, North Carolina, Casey spent the majority of her free time in the family music room singing the songs of all her favorite artists of the time including Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill and more. Over the years Casey developed a love for a wide range of genres and widely broadened her vocal horizons. In 2010, as Miss Durham, Casey won the coveted talent award at the prestigious Miss North Carolina pageant, where she was also a Top 10 finalist. Casey is currently the female voice of the popular Beach and Soul band, The Johnny Barker Project, which boasts a range of beach music veterans and Hall of Fame initiates. Casey can be seen performing on her own or with a live band up and down the eastern coast in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Casey's musical goal is to bring a new flavor to the world of country music that incorporates rock, soul and blues while featuring traditional country and folk instruments like the fiddle, mandolin and dobro. Casey's first official EP, "The Road Ahead" was released November 2013 featuring four original songs, and is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, and all major digital music distributors.
